ABOUT I-RICE

In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, the ability to innovate and create has become essential. Innovation refers to developing new approaches to solve existing challenges, while creativity involves transforming ideas into tangible solutions.

I-RICE, short for the International Research, Innovation, Creativity, and Engineering Project Competition, is proudly organized by the IEM-SUC Student Section of Southern University College. This prestigious event aims to cultivate a research-driven mindset among students and academicians while providing a platform for talents and breakthrough ideas that contribute meaningfully to society.

Previously known as RICE (Research, Innovation, Creativity & Engineering), we successfully organized RICE'23 and RICE'24, attracting participants from various academic and industrial backgrounds. In 2025, we are proud to announce our rebranding to I-RICE'25, marking our evolution onto the international stage and reinforcing our commitment to engineering excellence and global collaboration.

The competition welcomes participation from external companies, organizations, and industry professionals, making it a collaborative and interdisciplinary showcase. With interactive exhibitions, innovative solutions, and informative programs, I-RICE promises an engaging and memorable experience for both exhibitors and visitors.
