To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a deep learning-based approach for automatic weed detection using image processing techniques. This approach offers a cost-effective and scalable alternative to traditional methods, reducing both chemical usage and manual labor.

By leveraging object detection algorithms such as YOLOv8, integrated with libraries like google colab, the proposed system is able of accurately detecting and localizing weed in real-time agricultural settings.
